Dinner on Pofo's boat

We followed up lunch at Chris and Sophia's with dinner on Pofo's boat. Mac and cheese, kale, and ice cream. The girls were wild. Within 30 seconds of buckling Allie into her seat she announced that she was exhausted and passed out.

Somehow Auntie Sophia wields a power over Allie...Allie ate spinach and tofu. Maybe not willingly, I'm not sure, but she did it. And she, and Maddie, LOVE going over to Uncle Chris' and Auntie Sophia's.

Mid winter break

We went up to crystal on Thursday and Friday to go and ski in the "pow pow" (Allie's words, not mine). Wednesday night we were lucky enough to get to spend the night at a cabin in Greenwater. The girls woke up to pancakes, their favorite breakfast, and...

It was awesome. 

Both girls did great in their lessons. Allie learned to turn and was SO proud. 

Thursday:

After skiing we went to Nonna's for dinner and of course had a rousing game of old maid. The girls have the worst poker faces. I love it. 

On Friday we woke up bright and early and headed to the mountain again. We met Pofo in the lodge and skied a few runs with him. Unfortunately after lunch he had to go back to work. Maddie was looking all over for him so she could go up again with him. 

We got bold and took Allie up chinook. She did well until she crashed going pretty fast and got snow up her jacket. Game over. I got to carry her down. 

Maddie found a friend. She was happy to ditch me. I was shocked when she skied into line and hopped on a chair. 

And then Sonja and Zach came over for dinner. We packed a lot into just over 48 hours. I need to think of something fun for our next 48!

More sleeping

These two are quite the snuggle bugs. I went in at midnight after being woken up by Allie having a dream fight with her sister. 

Nonna's

We'd probably be pretty malnourished without Nonna inviting us over for dinner all the time. We are pretty thankful. I think Obie is too.

Extra visit and some early valentines surprises

Of course, of course, Nonna had goodie bags for the girls for V-day. I had them for a few hours so we stopped by for a surprise visit and she surprised them with gifts.
