They're out walking the 'hood giving out brownies and cards.

Lunch date

We went to U Village (which was a mad house!) today to finish off our Christmas lists. Both girls were STARVING so we stopped in for lunch. They were so cute sharing drinks, hugging, smiling...who are you people?? I'm not sure that we've ever really just gone to lunch for fun. And it was fun. Until Allie hated her Mac and cheese, but I guess you can't win them all.

They begged me to take their picture in the sleigh.

Santa outtakes

Notice the hair twirl. Classic "Allie is uncomfortable"

Coulon

I confess, I told Allie if she took a picture with Santa we could go to the park afterwards.

Aunt Jamie & Uncle Matt

Knocked it out of the park this year with art supplies (an airbrush for mads and a Spirograph for Allie) and personalized books for both girls.

Allie: "This book is fiction because one, I don't have purple hair, one I don't ride the bus, and two I don't go to outer space"

Aunt Jamie's favorite moment of the day: Maddie was hiding downstairs...Allie asked where she was...Maddie said upstairs...Allie headed upstairs even though the voice was obviously downstairs.

Santa 2014

We attempted Bellevue square on Saturday which had the potential to make anyone agorophobic. Choosing to skip the 2 plus hour line we hit up The Landing on Sunday instead. Allie was incredibly shy and did not want to see Santa, Maddie, after examining all of her previous Santa pics did not believe that this man was the real deal since it was a different person in all the pictures. Nonetheless she listed off her list, smiled for the camera, and off we went in under five minutes.

Teddy bear

She insisted on sleeping with this thing. THANKS SO MUCH UNCLE CHRIS AND AUNTIE SOPHIA.

Love notes

Every week she opens up her backpack and doles out the love notes. It goes without saying that I love them.

Oh Christmas Tree

By far the biggest tree we've ever had.

Santa was wondering around the farm. Miraculously Maddie not only snuggled
up for a picture but she also engaged with him and received some Christmas magic.

Ornament explosion

Snow day!!
