We decided to combine Peter's work trip to San Diego with a final fun adventure for the kiddos. We spent the majority of our time at "seal beach" (aka Children's Pool in La Jolla).
This is the reason the kids named the beach "seal beach"

On our last day we went to Mission Beach. The kids wanted to go to and ride rides so I promised them each ONE RIDE. Dante chose the roller coaster.
The other three were not on board with that program.
Instead choosing to ride the carousel.
And then to the Cabrillo National Monument
We made it home, minus a load of barf Dante left on his tray table. We're a week out from school starting! yay for a fantastic summer.
