Maddie is 10!

An entire weekend spent celebrating her first decade. Sleepovers, smores, cake, putty gifts from everyone, more cake, less sleep, donuts and so much love.

Cinderella

Maddie loves all animals. Yesterday she INSISTED I come see something in her room. We were running late so I balked but she was persistent. She had this little guy under a crate and had plans to nurse it back to health (I'm pretty sure it stunned itself hitting the glass). We had a little chat about bringing wildlife inside so I snapped a picture and we set him free. He pooped and then flew away.

Mexico, part 1

 

Another successful trip to Punta Mita. The kids were awesome both directions on the flights. We spent a week soaking up sun, salt water and chlorine.  It was heaven. 

Our house had an indoor/outdoor living space that opened up into our own pool.  I am pretty sure each kid logged at least 10 hours a day in it.  The morning light through that tree was amazing.

A few other families were in Mexico too.  The kids had a few sleepovers and LOVED spending time with their friends.

On our last day the Easter Bunny paid us a visit. He even dropped eggs in the pool!
