These girls love going out on the boat with him and he's always happy to oblige. He's never impatient with me when it takes me awhile to get to the house either.

Not sure if Maddie was more excited or if I was...regardless, we made it happen.  Thank you to my village for coming along for this grand adventure.

Summer Pictures

I can't remember the last time I pulled out my DSLR to take "real" pictures.  But every year, every summer, I try and make a point of putting my phone down and taking out my camera to capture the girls as they are.  Today we went to West Seattle and played on the beach.  We had dinner on a blanket, made a seaweed "dessert" and stayed up way past our bedtime.
