Our (never ending) yard project

Yay! Finally getting the driveway out of our backyard

Making a level area for Madeline's play set

Terracing the yard. We had SOO much dirt.

This pile of rocks = ten tons. We now have 25 tons sitting in our yard.

Let me tell you, this guy was helpful!

And so was she! We loved watching the machinery but, "mama, no tuk" (no truck-our U-haul experience from 2 weeks ago has apparently scarred her for life. No, nothing happened. She just doesn't like trucks for whatever reason)

Instead of bark we opted for pea-gravel.

Probably the cutest two pictures I've ever taken of these two.

Okay, Zaide, Baba and Nonna showed up Sunday morning to help put together our "Rainbow" System. This is step one.

This is also step one.

My dad showed up around 1:00 or so. We are now on step two at this point.

By 4:30 we made it to step 9. Anyone want to come over on Wednesday and help finish? Bob knows how to read the directions now so it should go faster :-)

White trash baby

No clothes.

Dad couldn't resist putting the slide up for Madeline to play on.

The dirtiest baby of all time

Thank you so much everyone for all of your help today!!!

OMG...your yard looks AMAZING! Can't wait to come over and see it for myself, and let Hadley play on your fancy swingset. Thanks to Nona and Mofo for a fabulous gift that we'll get to enjoy as well:). She is def a filth pot!

the dirty trailer park girl could NOT be cuter! Def need to frame some of those pics. And isn't putting a play system together the worst job in the world? Someone could make a fortune doing that for people (right along with putting IKEA stuff together). Looks like the yard is going to be fab! You no longer need to enter worst yard in the NW contests!

That is why I hired someone to put ours together for the babies - Tom and I would have made headlines: Man Shoots Wife - Turns Gun On Self
