Mom,

Happy Birthday.  I am so happy these two little girls love you as much as I do.  I could never, ever, explain to you how much you mean to this family.   You truly are our village.  I love that I can call you to ask for advice, and that you support me in whatever crazy endeavor I may have up my sleeve, gossip with you, and that I can  turn to you whenever I need help with anything. I love that we all get along so well that we talk to each other daily, and are happy going on vacation together. It's a true testament to how you really are the glue that holds us all together.  I can only hope to be half as good of a mom to my girls as you were to all of us (I still think you're crazy for shooting five of us out...I feel overwhelmed with TWO!).   And now... from the girls:

Nonna,

I love you so, so, so, so much.  Nonna always is nice because she gave us some treasure from her trip. Nonna gets ice cream for her house and we get to eat it.

Love, Maddie

Nonna,

I love you Nonna. Uhhhhhhhhh, fire beach (don't know what that means!). Happy birthday Nonna. Have a good trip from my trip.

Love, Allie

It is such a blessing that I have all of you. I found this quote and send it to all with my love.

“This is my wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, Love to complete your life.” David Harkins
