On 1.13.2010 Granny passed away. She was my introduction into the crazy world of dogs. She could hold a straight face when she talked about Jilly's mom being Best Bitch (I suppose most can), she could hold a straight face while driving with a "bitch on board" sticker, she enabled Chris and I by giving us a dollar every Saturday to go and buy candy at Pike Place, she had the most infectious, happy laugh and she will be greatly missed.

oh Lis, sorry to hear about your grandma. You have had a tough week. Glad you had such a wonderful inspiration in your life, hope I can be the same to my gkids.
so sad for you, grandmas are very special people. LOVE that she gave you a dollar for candy, that is such a grammy thing to do.
Oh Lis I am so, so sorry for you and your family. She seemed like she was what every grandma was supposed to be. What is it with Grandma's and dollars:). I love that she did this.

the dollar thing is mandatory for grandmas, it's in the grandma code of conduct. I remember Gramma Sundstrom giving us a dollar for Xmas, we always loved it. As we loved our grandmas.
