Picnic along the river
We missed out on a boat dinner this afternoon because the girls were taking naps. Maddie was so sad and disappointed when she found out that I felt like we had to try and do something fun. So we surprised Kip at BEFA with a picnic dinner to go and enjoy along the Cedar River. It was beautiful and warm and perfect.

looks like a glorious day! BTW is that Rudder thrashing in the water or did you guys run across a ginormous lake shark?
funny, I thought somewhat of the same thing, than realized it was Rudder. Beautiful day...until the bloody nose that is!!
