Leaves
These leaves have provided entertainment all week long. Maddie loves to rake. She IS available for hire.
Finally
Blackey laid an egg! Our first green egg. Very exciting. It lasted about 5 seconds before it got dropped.
Breakfast art
I'm not sure how much got ingested. The repeated requests for another pancake were most definitely driven by a desire to use a cookie cutter rather than a hungry tummy.

The rain is back
In full force. Time to find some indoor activities. Hoping uncle Chris will come build the dollhouse so we don't lose our minds inside.

October self portrait
She doesn't remember what any of the writing means. Nor does she remember if it's a jump rope or a necklace around her neck.
Guess who?
Guess who filled the entire sink up with toilet paper while washing her hands? Lesson of the day: use a hand towel to scrub with Allie Pal.

Cook and grow
Maddie is an after school program called cook and grow. She loves it. Allie also loves to play "cook" while we wait.
Early morning tub
Allie got in first and snagged the coveted spot up front. Maddie nicely asked if she could have it and Allie was happy to oblige. I LOVE it when they're like this. How do I keep it up??

Checking out the salmon
I probably thought they were way cooler than the girls but we had a blast racing down the trail and playing in the fountains.
Getting ready for school
The light this morning was so pretty. Both girls love letting rudder and the chickens run loose. I'd love it too if I didn't have to stand outside in the freezing yard. :-)

Thomas tent
Random convo:
Allie: mama, what is this?
Me: I don't know
Allie: Is it a grape?
Me: I don't think so. I don't know where you picked it from.
Allie: can I eat it?
Me: no. I don't know what it is.
Allie: will it make you die?
Me: I don't know.
Allie: try it and find out.

Chairs, lazy bones, and a leery dog
These girls could play with their chairs for hours. They use them to make forts, jump on them, and sit and read their books in them.
Allie still remains the laziest child on earth, preferring to be carried or pushed anywhere we go.
And finally, how hilarious is Rudder's expression...no worries dude. She doesn't have any scissors.
