Be still my heart

I love watching her love reading.

Movie night

I'm officially banning myself from picking movies. Black Beauty is a wee bit of a tear jerker. I asked the girls if I could fast forward. Neither girl
minded. We watched the last (happy) five minutes after slogging through an hour of animal cruelty and as Maddie put it "black beauty's horrible, sad life"

Parking it

Today we met Siri at the park. It was Fuh-reezing. The girls had fun riding their bikes and playing on the monkey bars. Rudder got some MUCH needed exercise.

Kathi's

The girls LOVE going to Kathi's. Two adorable little dogs, a house FULL of treasures to explore, delicious treats, and always something beautiful to bring home.

My child

Hopefully this explains her behavior at dinner tonight

Not even a five minute car ride home...

3rd time was the charm

Our third try skiing and we finally got allie to crack a smile. Maddie and I went and skied together while Allie took a lesson-she needs to learn how to stop on her own...not only did she learn it she graduated to the next class up. Maddie did a great job as well. She loves going through the jumps in the trees.

Skiing

Our second day up this year...tons of snow, tons of people, tons of patience required for a certain four year old who has very high standards on equipment placement.

Knife skills

I couldn't watch. Everyone still has all their fingers.

Trouble

This morning while we were getting ready for school Allie was telling Maddie and I about her class parrot. She went into great detail about the parrot: color, size, the fact that he talked, etc. Maddie was totally jealous and really wanted to see the bird so I agreed to walk the girls into the pre-K class to see him. When I asked Allie's assistant teacher if she minded if we went into the classroom to see the parrot I got a very puzzled look followed by some very loud cackling by a certain four year old.

I am so gullible. Apparently maddie is following in my footsteps.

Scrambler

Allie refuses to eat. I don't know how she is alive. Apparently bread and jelly have more nutrients than I was aware of. She has been VERY in to scrambled eggs. And when she gets to crack them, mix them AND cook them she will actually EAT them.

Tulla bella

Neither girl pronounces it correctly. But I love when they mispronounce. Thanks to Pofo for a fun night out.
