Christmas Eve

Aunt Jamie wins the award for creepiest wrapping paper 

Uncle Matt wins the award for entertaining my children with sock tea, toilet tea (all fun and games until actual toilet water was used) and a plethora of other HILARIOUS teas. 

Sonja wins the most shocked award-meaning she shocked us by pretending to help clean. 

Nonna of course wins the most amazing food award. But she wins that nightly so no big deal there. 

And we ended the night with typical Demco physical competitions.

Dear Santa

Dear santa I love you because you give people presents for us. We got you cakes and milk and carrots for the reindeer. 

Wild Waves Holiday Lights

I'm still trying to warm up after the seemingly sub-arctic temperatures but we had a blast. Both girls were totally brave (more brave than I was) and we rode on rides for 3.5 hours. I'd call it a success.

Maddie loves telling me that we should take a "selfie" (Thanks aunt sonja), Sonja has managed to appear on about 95% of the pictures, I had to delete a lot of blurry shots, she LOVES her camera, thank you Nonna.

Santa 2013

Nonna got clocked in the face thanks to a hyper black lab, Sonja had to hide behind santa to hold hyper black lab, both girls talked to santa (!!) and Goldie and sparkles were on their best behavior. I'd call it a success. Next year we will cut maddie's bangs BEFORE the picture, not after. 

10 more days!!

But in the meantime I got the cutest pots from the girls and Nonna and the girls got new dolls.
