Tutta Bella

Thank you Nonna for the Mother's Day gift! Sorry you were stuck on the side of a mountain. We thought about you as we scaled the stairs to our seats.

Museum of Flight

What's better than a whole day of camp?

Without a doubt the ride your Aunt Jamie gives you around the parking lot in her golf cart.

Mariners

We got tickets to the mariners game on Friday night, which happened to be their first "fireworks night". The girls BEGGED to stay. After the first inning, after consuming every last snack I packed, they were bouncing in their seats so I figured there was no possible way we were making it. But after a recharge at the playground and after Allie passed out in my arms, Maddie and I stayed up and watched the show. It was fantastic. Next time we will leave just before the show ends though to avoid the 45 min drive home we had.

These two

Maddie walks everywhere with a book in her hand. I'm not sure how she doesn't trip. And she constantly wants to know where I am.

Allie could care less about being left alone. In fact she prefers it, especially if she's left with the iPad.

Swimming

Watching swim practice

It's hard to see but Maddie did a stand-up dive into the pool today. I was so proud!

Busy busy busy

The girls have started camp at Fairwood Golf Course. Each week there is a new theme. They swim every day, golf a few times a week and come home exhausted and ready to repeat. Maddie is on the rainier beach swim team-her first year, and is doing great. It's a lot of fun watching her swim and come out of her shell.

New friend

I have no clue what her name is, only that she's five and Maddie initiated the friendship. They ran around and played hide and seek, rode their bikes, and were not happy when it was time for bed.

Bring me cool stuff

Maddie's farewell card to Nonna.

Good luck to these crazy climbers!

Happy Father's Day

To my dad...

To sum up his card: thank you for teaching me that life is more than just stuff. Never once did I get yelled at after I systematically destroyed every single one of his cars.

Even with all of their fighting

They still have each other's backs. And they love each other so much. This made me so happy.

Swimming

It's seriously all they want to do.

Until Allie realizes she has to swim and talks about her death a lot. And then we go over "the starfish" and how life jackets work...someone sign this kid up for some lessons stat.
