Busy busy busy

The girls have started camp at Fairwood Golf Course. Each week there is a new theme. They swim every day, golf a few times a week and come home exhausted and ready to repeat. Maddie is on the rainier beach swim team-her first year, and is doing great. It's a lot of fun watching her swim and come out of her shell.

I have no clue what her name is, only that she's five and Maddie initiated the friendship. They ran around and played hide and seek, rode their bikes, and were not happy when it was time for bed.

Happy Father's Day

To my dad...

To sum up his card: thank you for teaching me that life is more than just stuff. Never once did I get yelled at after I systematically destroyed every single one of his cars. 

Even with all of their fighting

They still have each other's backs. And they love each other so much. This made me so happy.

It's seriously all they want to do. 

Until Allie realizes she has to swim and talks about her death a lot. And then we go over "the starfish" and how life jackets work...someone sign this kid up for some lessons stat. 

My nature girl

Maddie is so in tune with nature. She is calm around animals and they can sense it. She opens up to people when she's with animals. Animals are just her thing. I will not be surprised if she becomes a vet, a horse trainer, a jockey, a doctor and a farmer...all on her list of what she wants to be when she grows up.
