Lis, what the hell is this kid wearing. Thank God she looks adorable regardless. Was this another "Kip dress the baby day?".
I absolutely love her mass of curly hair!! Is that from your side Lis or did Kip have curly hair?
There is a reasonable explanation. Let me tell you: When Madeline wakes up I normally give her a jar of baby food. I used to get her into the days outfit when she got up only to have to change her right after she sprayed us both with winter squash. SO, I figured I'd keep her in her PJs BUT I've been using the sleep sack b/c if I use PJs with legs she kicks off her covers. B/C we're in the sleep sack I have to un-zip her to fit her into the bebe pod but I don't want her to get cold so I throw on sweats. And there's your really long answer to why my baby is dressed like Kip dressed her :-)
Kip says he has curly hair but I've never seen any evidence of that. I have annoying wavy/frizzy hair. Hopefully Maddie's just goes one way or the other. The in-between sucks!
I like the Frankenstein on her shirt, it's cute!
I think you should have just blamed Kip for the outfit.
Kip has curly hair??? Not any that his mother has ever seen. Possibly if he goes on birth control he will inherit some, in the meantime the curls are yours Lis (or a mutant family gene.)

Oh, he will definitely deny it. But the loser has NEVER had curly hair!
That's why I love him so much. The random stuff (lies:-))that comes out of his mouth will forever keep me entertained.
He does let some doozies out. Clearly there is some curly-hair gene on our side of the family though since Cara and I got some crazy curls. Maybe Mads will get that too. On the other hand, she does have hair, so she is still way ahead of Hadley Jane.
ok - so i think she is telling you that she does NOT want squash for BREAKFAST!
I seem to remember a little bit of curly locks on kip when he was that size - not as uch as mads - but wavy/curly all the same
