Sonja just came back a few weeks ago from three weeks in Uganda. She went with Smile Power, a group that helps with dentistry in a lot of the refugee camps. I love that she captured this shot with the beans in the air and all of the shadows!
This is one of Sonja's favorites from the trip.
Fun group shot. She said that a lot of the kids could speak some English. When they would drive by on some of the roads the kids would hold out their hands and ask for money. Sad.

just what I was thinking! I know Pia loved her trip and learned a LOT about different cultures etc. And what a worthy cause, now can she come fix my teeth? ;-)
