This weekend we went to my cousin's Olympic Party in Vancouver. My dad took us up on his boat. We had a great time. On Friday we loaded up the car and drove to Anacortes. We spent the night at the dock and then at first light on Saturday motored up to BC. We had two Coast Guard boats pull up alongside us to query us but were then sent on our way. This pictures uploaded in reverse order. This is a shot of both girls passed out at the party. I was shocked that Madeline fell asleep!

We decided to drive up Whidbey to get up to Anacortes which meant taking a ferry. Kip bought a bag of popcorn to throw at the seagulls. I've never done that before. What fun! Allie actually seemed to love it. She was squealing and flailing her little legs and arms all over the place.
Kip was SO excited to get out of the city. can you tell?

I HEART Vancouver, even though my kids are completely anti-Canada (no idea why, who doesn't love a country that calls their dollars loonies?) And Granville Island is so much fun! Jealous (and love Mads' plumber's crack also, what cute peaches)
Fun! Looks like a blast. Where there a bunch of special olympics festivities to visit?
