Yesterday we went for Allie's one year check. After getting her measurements Kip and I were betting on percentile for height and weight. We both guessed in the 50% range. We were both wrong. Allie was in the 60th for height and 15th for weight. For about 5 minutes. Then the doctor came in, looked at her chart and our hopes for a future of sitting on the bleachers cheering on our basketball player came to a screeching halt. Wrapping wrists and bandaging knees for gymnast events appears to be more likely. (apparently an inch per month is a bit much and was a cause for suspicion) Allie is in the 15% for both height and weight. Her head, shocking considering her mom and dad, is right at 50%.
