swimmer swimmer slim fast dinner
She can't dress herself but she can swim. Maddie is off of all of her floats and swimming the length of the pool. Wednesday she started to learn how to do a "surface dive" to grab toys that sink to the bottom. She is so proud of herself. Now, if we could only get over the irrational fear of the grate at the bottom of the pool...

Pia claims she has a friend with an irrational fear of the lane lines on the bottom of the pool... that friend is 35 years old. so good luck! :)
That grate is scary stuff! Maybe just maybe I own an adult pair of swim shoes. LOL
long hair could get sucked into the grate! Stay scared Mads. But very proud of this little mermaid (and what's wrong with the way she dresses? I dress much the same. Oh, wait, I understand now)
with her long hair maybe not so irrational. We will practice walking over the sidewalk grates in Seattle, that should cure her!!
I still have a fear of the grate at the bottom of pools, and the lights, and the drains...so don't worry about it, she'll be fine! Way to go Maddie on being a swimmer!!!! And love the outfit:)
Luckily swimming and nakedness can go hand in hand...so she really doesn't need to learn to dress herself. For the birds.
seriously, the best part of this post might be the almost missed "swimmer swimmer slim fast dinner". Love you Lis!
And Katie, I do have a friend scared of the black swim lanes, and I found out last week that her mom has the same fear and never told any of her kids cause she didn't want to pass it on. Do you think it's imbedded in the DNA?
you forgot to mention that BJ is also terrified of black toilet seats. Your friends are weird.
