Our weekend

"Mama, do I look like a pirate?"

Rosie lays beautiful speckled eggs

Friday-our last day of sun before being buried in this dreary fog

Allie somehow ended up with me every single night

And these two apparently caught the Demco genes of loving sitting on the floor next to the heater vent. This picture was after I broke up the fight and showed them it could be equally divided.

Our first ride around Seward park. Aunt Sonja asked Allie about 10 times, right around the point of no return, if she was tired. Not annoying at all.

Siri showed me my own homemade gentle leader which kept rudder in check. We wrapped the leash around his hind area...it worked. Not questioning why.

And after the ride they still wanted to play

Maddie called Nonna, per the usual, to see what was for dinner. Delicious per the usual.

We went to costco yesterday. Why do I always forget and go on a Saturday? Allie did nothing to help me put stuff away but she looked cute chugging her yogurt.

And then we spent the rest of the day at Nonna's

We even had a little photo shoot. We took some pictures of drinks for a blogpost Siri is working on. The girls loved being "helpers"

And for some reason I acquiesced and let the girls sleep with me last night. The number of pictures throughout the night shows how well it worked out for me.

Allie sure does look like a pirate. What a beautiful egg Rosie! I love the battle over the heater vent. Great pumpkin drawing and text. Sonja annoying? Are you sure about that. I look forward to those two little voices calling me asking, "Nonna, what's for dinner?". It makes my day. It was a joyous weekend at Island Drive with a lot of playtime. I must say that it was scary when Zach was letting both girls ride on his back. That was an accident waiting to happen.
