159/366

We went to a real farm today. Maddie did not want to leave. We dropped $80 on four more tragedies in waiting. Keep your fingers crossed for us. Coop has been bleached and new bedding down, the girls have been instructed to always stay with their ladies and I'm hopeful that one of these days each and every one of my faithful blog readers will get a $60 per dozen eggs.

I like that you are such a cockeyed optimist :-) And expensive eggs are good eggs.

I got to meet the new ladies Sunday night. They are a beautiful flock. The chicken that Allie picked out is not very friendly - I think it is scared to death of people. The others are easy going and fine with being handled.
Let's pray to the farm gods that all goes well with this bunch.
